For this assignment, I commented on my classmate Janiyah Townsend’s post about three major projections shaping the future of health reporting: the rise of telehealth, the growing use of data-driven journalism, and a stronger focus on equity. In my response, I highlighted how her points helped me understand the rapid shift in the health field, particularly in terms of virtual care and equity.

I appreciated her point about questioning whether telehealth actually meets student needs, because access doesn’t always equal effectiveness. Her focus on equity also stood out to me, particularly in a city like Atlanta, where health gaps continue to affect many communities. Overall, her insights provided me with a clearer perspective on how health reporting is evolving and which issues deserve closer attention.
